I bought the MP mats & hate them. They show footprints and marks that can be SCRUBBED out but the first time you step in another shows up. They looked great before I used them but in hindsight I would buy the black all-weather mats.

Good to know! I was already on the fence about the mats, and was leaning towards all black rubber mats, you have solidified my choice!

Thank you!

I got them for free and that's about what they're worth. They really mark up easily.

Not mine, and a couple of days ago rather than today, but anyway: Last weekend was our spring driver's school, and I'd brought the E36 track rat instead of the M2 (first world problems, FTW!). Sunday morning I got a text from one the students, "Would you mind driving my M2 in the first instructor session, so I can ride along?" Why, no, I wouldn't mind.

After the drive, I wouldn't say I regretted bringing the rat instead of my M2, but I was reminded why it was a tough decision. Huge, stupid fun, and the student said she learned a lot. So, a win-win.

Seriously, if you own an M2, you must track it at least once. It is such a nice ride.

Received a 'No Signal' error message on iDrive and no response from the system. After restarting the car when I got home it disappeared.

Seems there is a history of this with other BMW's. Hopefully this isn't the start of a saga.
