Wish I could have fun driving my car like Chris Harris does.

Question is how many of you //M owners have ever slid your car around corners like that? For those who track your cars, do you do that on an open track? Just curious.

Why is this ancient video being posted so much recently? Was it never on YouTube before?

My bad if it's ancient. Saw it on youtube posted brand new, so I thought it is. Admin kill it for people who can't appreciate a cool repeat!

I don't drift around no. It's something they do on TV because it's visual and dramatic. It makes for good entertainment.

I've seen they have special drift days on tracks here. I don't think you're allowed to drift all that much on a normal track day. It's hard to do and I guess the average drifter is a lot slower than the rest making it a safety hazard.

And although it looks like a lot of fun it must be very expensive (tires going up in smoke!) and a tad childish.

My Fiesta's err tail stepped out on a roundabout a couple of times.

But doubt the limit of the M2 is that low. Even the missus' 125i can't be provoked so easily.

I know I'm quoting a bit late here, but that sort of fall is even better when you consider that there was around $22K in government charges out of the original $100K.

I tend to let the back end slide out a bit more than i should. But I also drive in DSC off 80% of the time so there's that..
