If you want most women to notice, you have to get a convertible. When I had my Z4M roadster I got a surprisingly high number of positive comments from women. I was pretty much expecting it to be the usual dick magnet.

I once drove a Bentley belonging to someone else through a Wendy's drive-thru by myself and ordered like $120 worth of food. I also looked 16 years old at the time. I got some funny looks from both windows.

I go because of the nostalgia. We grew up with little money and whenever McDonalds or Burger King sent out coupons, my parents would take me. The food isn't great, there is always an impending risk of having to redo the plumbing in the house, and I always regret it immediately afterwards. But, it takes me back.

Yeah, already encountered a couple of times that on the uphill part of great mountain passes I see/hear them approaching. Usually two or three agile motor bikes passing by with that hallmark loud bike rattle sound. But sometimes you notice that they stay a few car lengths behind you, instead of overtaking you, likely checking out how you negotiate curves, manage speed, use the brakes and anticipate oncoming traffic. After a couple of curves you apparently got their vote of confidence (or they want to troll) and they start to approach really-really close (1 to 2 m distance): loud rattle behind you mixing with your engine and exhaust sound + bikers filling your mirrors ...and that all the way to the summit. At the top they usually give you a 'thumbs up' or also make a brief stop and come to you for a nice chat.

Honestly, it generates mixed emotions when they're tailgating you: on the one hand you know that it's a sign that they trust you, but on the other hand you got no room for error (one emergency stop and they all rear-end you). If you feel uncomfortable with it: just gently move over and give a hand sign to pass.

I notice M2s all the time. These cars just look different than normal cars. They stand out with the short length, wide body and big wheels even in black or gray color. some presence to it that you can't ignore.
