You are right that's what he did.
Because when I go to mybmw and put the order number I see 2017 M2 Mineral Grey, and that's not the same color in the paper he gave me
If it will be build it's gonna be a MY 2018 correct ?
No. If they build it, it will be a MY17

But if it will show build week 35 for example in the next few days. It will be an MY 2018 LCI Facelift it's impossible they'll be building a 2017
The model number will be updated to 182R, I'm I wrong ?

I'm told by my SA that they receive their allocations Monday (6/12/17). I hope to hear something from them Monday.

Well, what is the build week shown now?

Because he's right, based on everything you've written you're getting a MY17.

I have a question please
If a dealer put you in the order bank for the 2018 M2 and gives you the paper showing order status 047 priority 1 with your name and tells you that you are number two in the order bank. Can I trust him that I'm number 2 or I could be number 5 or 8 ?
Thank you

Nice to see a moonroof is finally an option. After all my waiting, I will be getting exactly what I want after all.

Agreed. It is the only LCI option I'm pining for. In the TX heat it'd be nice to just tilt open the moonroof to hear the exhaust better but still be fairly insulated from the heat vs opening up the windows in dress shirt/tie/slacks.

It's definitely nice to have. I like having it open, in conjunction with the windows down; on a spring or summer evening when it's cooled down some. Just cruising along enjoying the wind and the car. I know it's not for everyone, just something I like. What's cool is everyone get's a choice, so those who don't want it, just don't option it.

6’2” here. Just went to sit in a 240 with a moonroof to see if I’d option one.

No go. Unless I want to suffer a concussion from hitting the roof every bump in the road.

Anyway, deposit placed. Fingers crossed.

Does anyone know if dealers are still charging premiums on the M2 or can i easily walk into a dealership and order one for MSRP.

Premiums are still around, especially in west coast. In general though, you're more likely to get msrp now but be prepared for an 8-12 month wait depending on your dealer.

Holy crap, the moonroof makes that big of a difference?
I'm 6'3" and have test-fit in two fixed roof cars; both felt like they had a TON of space above my head. I test-fit with a helmet in one of them to be safe (autox/track days) and even with the helmet it felt very spacious up there, like several inches to spare above the helmet still.

Surprising that the moonroof takes away that much room.

I almost never use them, but they are nice to have to allow more light into the cabin. OTOH, the 2-series seems to be pretty light / open already compared to other stuff I've been in. Helmet space trumps light for me, so I'll be skipping the moonroof.

I’m a moonroof guy (though I admittedly never use them). Super disappointed that it won’t work. I even tried to put the seat all the way down. I also have more legs than torso so it could have been worse.

Short answer - You won't know for sure unless your dealer gives you a screenshot of their order bank in DCS, which I am afraid they will not do.

I have a 4runner as a daily with sunroof. My hair touches the headliner slightly with the moonroof. I sat inside the same 4runner without sunroof and there is about 1.5-2 inches of room more headroom

A vehicle with no sunroof significantly increases headroom with any brand.
