Brake sensor - not fitting in new pads
Put on a set of PFC 08s and the sensors do not fit into the pads. The steel plate back on the pad is too think and not beveled like the stock and some other pads. So, I used a file to narrow the sensor plug area down a bit. The front is fine, rear is off a bit.
Anyway, getting a warning on the rear now. Does anyone know if this will cause trouble (ie will not allow you to disable DSC, will back you out of sports +, etc.)? From a quick drive it appears not. Or will it allow you to drive and just show the warning? Assuming I will just have to deal with the warring until I resolve the issue.

Just tie up the sensors when using track pads don't know why you tried to jam them in track pads.

Pagid and most others take the extra step in the manufacturing process to better accommodate sensors. Guess it is not a big deal really, looking forward to see how these pads are.

Thanks.
After some investigation, I found I dug half way through the sensor cable a bit when attempting to get it in the pad. Must be the reason for the warning light, etc. given you guys are not getting it with the cable just being tied.

I've had the sensors tied up on my DD M4 for three years. I keep them taped (elec tape) so they don't get dinged-up and throw a warning light. Then track pads are no issue. |

New sensor on and tied up with end taped, brake warning reset, all is good.

This video shows how, just cycle through until you get to the front or rear brakes.
