Looked at the tires in some for sale ads, ran some vin numbers. There were MPSS on a 10/5/16 build and contis on a 9/8/16 build. So there is still hope.

Unbelievable that the CS3's are still fitted on an M car. It's an oldie but not a goodie. Just die already!

Any updates from the latest week builds? I want to hope it's back to MPSS and contis were just a filler for a supply issue.

Other way around. More Contis and less MPSS as Michelin winds down production to replace with P4S.

Not necessarily. Been seeing more mpss lately than conti. Keep the updates coming. Until it's obviously conti for awhile we don't know.

MY 17 delivered late October. Came with the continental tire.

I autocrossed on them last weekend. Not nearly as much lateral grip as the re71r. Braking isn't that phenomenal either. They work just fine around town and are pretty quiet on the interstate.

To be fair they are not a competitor to the RE71R, RE71R has a third of the tread life but I get your point, they are not a great tire and I am 100% sure the PSS would have performed better.

Now this is what i plan to do! Autocross even within the break in period.

I was a WK35 build and got Contis too. Would have preferred PSS.
