Ha, having moved to Santa Barbara from Dallas (aka urban sprawl and concrete manufactured nature) I'd love to hear your list. How are those coastal roads, mountains, beaches, 1% property taxes and 70 degree summer temps working for you? lol

I went in to order my M2 today, but looked at the web site for my dealership and they had an M2 listed for around $67K. When I got there I checked it out and it was loaded up with the carbon fiber accessories, so that explained the price. My sales rep said someone came in offering $10K over cost for it and they turned him down. They basically said they don't sell over list, but are not selling it since they want to keep it on the floor.

So even if Dallas BMW is on this list, the dealership north of them (Classic) are straight shooters.

I'll start if we don't already have one:

Circle BMW- 10K over, they said they sold their first two cars for 10K over and have a configurable 111 status allocation now for 10K over.
BMW of Dallas- sold their HEA car for 8-10K over
Patrick BMW- MSRP but they told me they would take my 5K deposit then admitted I may not even get a car. I asked why they take deposits in that case and their reply was "because some people have hope they will get a car" WTF
BMW of Bellevue in Bellevue, Washington.
Palm Springs BMW
Center BMW - Sherman Oaks, Ca - Sold at $10k over.
Century West - North Hollywood Ca - Asked for $50k over! Sold somewhere between $10-20k (actual unconfirmed)
Santa Monica BMW - Currently asking $20k over but said they would take "a little" less
Pacific BMW listed over 10k
BMW of El Cajon (San Diego) sold for $20K over.
BMW of coconut creek, FL is doing $15k over MSRP
New Century BMW (Alhambra, CA) recently sold $10k over
Rusnak BMW, Westlake Village, CA- 82K asking
Sterling BMW of Newport Beach
BMW of Encinitas
Shelly BMW Buena Park
BMW of Escondido

BMW of Santa Barbara- over sticker
BMW VW of Topeka KS- 5 - 7k above MSRP.
Honda BMW Champaign Illinois- 5K markup

108 for an M2, that is crazy ... I can think of ten cars better than the M2 for this price ... Do not get me wrong M2 is nice but not for that Hefty price tag :

I'll chime in for BMW of Dallas...

I was actually offered an opportunity at that HEA car and my sales guy said he could make it happen for $5k markup. I declined... However, it was likely one of the first HEA cars in NA, so the mark-up is somewhat understandable.

Since then, I was offered an allocation for MY17, September delivery at MSRP. So I guess they have backed off the mark-up game.

Yep they have backed off to MSRP, the sales guys complained to management about the mark up and they decided to sell at MSRP.

I don't believe they've actually delivered another car besides the LBB HEA car so far.

They tried to offer me a spot but I already got one at another dealer. How long ago did you put your name on the list to get that Sept allocation?

It might easier if I just put 'any dealer in CA' on this list.

I put my name on the list in January of this year. I was told I was 30 something on the list...

Geez, I don't see the point after being 15+, you're not going to see a car for a long time.

Hate to break it to you but the list was not 30+ long if you've already got an allocation... I believe no dealer has gotten more than 8-10 cars so far, with probably 20 for the year being a super high volume dealership.

So unless loads of people dropped, you may have just been sold on the concept so you'd get a deposit in.

That very well may be the case! Thankfully, I'm completely okay with it if it nets me an M2 at MSRP.

P.S. Allocation was offered early July and I put deposit down then to get the Production Number.

A lot of people must have dropped off that list. I don't think any dealer got more than 10 so far.

Sorry, I believe it was a June/July allocation. I have a VIR with Production Number stating order status is 112. My CA has stated a Sept delivery.

P.S. Sorry to hijack the thread, but this is all helpful info for me. First time ordering a car.

If you at 112 you have a July build. I'm at 112 too and production is scheduled to complete July 25th. Call BMW this number (800) 831-1117 give them production number or vin number and they can track your car for you, should be same info online.
