My M2 with Apex EC7 Anthracite 18" fitted

Wheels arrived in the UK from APEX last week so sealed them with Gtechniq C5 and coated with Gtechniq EXO V2 before fitting the tyres over the weekend.

Spec are: 18x9.5 ET35 front and rear
Tyres: Goodyear PS4 275/35/18 front and rear

Fronts have a 12mm spacer fitted which gives loads of clearance to the suspension (8-10mm) and sits perfectly inside the wing/fender

Rears have no spacer fitted as the 12mm were a bit too much, an 8mm would be perfect I think. Will be fitting suspension later this week, will post more photos then.

Do you have to run spacers up front? Looking for wheels to run as a DD that I can rotate tires on. I'd probably run 265/35/18

Would you take a few more pics and post before you do the suspension please. Really want to see how that setup fits. Maybe down the side showing how flush they are (or aren't)?

Thanks!

I think a 265 tyre would be very close to the strut, maybe a 3mm spacer but does depend on the tyre type.

Great wheels, I'm also in the UK. How did you go about purchasing the wheels? Did you have to pay import tax, do you mind me asking you how much they cost all in. How long did delivery take?

cheers

OEM hardware works with all of our wheels, no problem.

Were you able to fit the front 275s with just the spacer, or do you have neg camber as well? Looking at a very similar setup for the track.

Thanks!!

This is beyond looks. Stock wheels cant support the tires needed for max performance. 9.5F 10.5R are needed and weight as low as possible. Apex is the way to go in my opinion for price vs performance. Their forged offerings are 3 and 4 pounds less than stock wheels. That is significant for rotational mass. You can get another 3 sounds savings per wheel using BBS FI-R or HRE 101 LW and that will cost you close to 10,000$ versus Apex (less than $3,000).

Pics!!!??? I am doing the same with the 19" forge offerings. Have CSL and EXO ready to apply. I am interested in the 275 fronts but they may not fit although I have 2.5 degree front camber I am lowered on MCS race suspension. I wonder how is turn in and feel with such wide fronts compared to stock?
