Will a 18x8 ET 20 square setup fit?
I have a leftover set of winter wheels/tires from my 1M which I'm guessing won't clear the brakes? Can anyone confirm?

I just tried a set of 18x9.5 et22 from my E92 and it didn't seem like it will work from looking at it. I might try a bunch more negative camber though.

Your wheel is 17 mm more aggressive than the OP question, so not really relevant. |

Handy calculator here (http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp) to show fender clearance and strut clearance comparisons between two wheels. Very common for people to overlook the width of the tire when comparing two setups.
You can see here that the 18x9.5 ET22 comparison referenced above will stick out 2mm less than the 18x8 ET20 at the tire which is where you are most likely to get rubbing. Last edited by Pyrat 2; 06-06-2017 at 08:45 PM.. |
