What did you do to your M2 today?

Was last Thursday but hadn't had time to post it..

After taking delivery at the Performance center Thursday I too to Extreme Colors to do the front end protection..

I am waiting for a full week to go buy and see if it cures completely before contacting them, the day after I saw a couple bubbles and called them but was told they should settle in about a week.. let's see how that goes..

There was also a Mineral Gray there as I left they got this one in, heard it had been in an accident and went back for XPEL after being repaired..

I installed the ///M puddle light things yesterday and also got the M Performance key case thing, almost so minor that I shouldn't mention it :P

Not easy at all but i also didnt jack the car up.

I've got a lift so its easy to get it up to chest height and hammer away with a rubber mallet and a piece of wood from behind.

I had these in my 228 and just installed in my M2! OEM BMW door projectors. Very easy to install.

I just grabbed it off amazon didn't really shop around. You may be able to find a deal somewhere else better than 52.99

You can swap out the slide in the projector to be either a ///M logo, a BMW Roundel, BMW in letters, as well as a xDrive logo. Obviously I put the ///M one in and installed it.

It only takes about 5 minutes to do it on both sides. You just use a screwdriver or something else that is thin, flat and strong enough to pop out the stock puddle lights (theres a little slot on them where you stick the screwdriver). Then after you have put the correct slide into the projector of the new puddle lights, you swap the little wire from the stock one over to the new one and then just push the new puddle light projectors back up into their spot on the bottom of the door.
