Obviously there are valid reasons that might happen, like being at work and not knowing your car was stolen until you go to leave for the day or being at a movie or something but, most of those are going to be relatively easy to prove/disprove and stack up against his story.

I wonder if Infiniti has a system like BMW assist or Onstar that notifies them of airbag deployment? That would be a way to track down who the car belongs to.

If there is no Onstar type system and the guy wanted to be slick about it he could just park it in the garage under a cover, with the battery disconnected and buy something else to drive until he could get it fixed without insurance being involved.

aggressive driving is going to happen everyday but from the video its very clear that the bmw was in the middle lane and not in a blind spot so i am really not even sure what the moron was thinking, it appears he/she expected the bmw to just simultaneously move out of the way as he/she swung into its lane, pretty pathetic

Well...I always said there's a correlation between bad driving and education. San Bernardino county has one of the lowest percentages of bachelors degrees or higher in the country at 19%. The US as a whole is 29.8%.

I drive through SB county when I leave San Diego heading to LA/Orange county. There's definitely a distinct difference in how people drive around there and I always have to mentally prepare myself for the drive.

In retrospect, fairly certain I see guys racing, swerving in and out of traffic, or using the shoulder as a lane on that drive 100% of the time. Pretty common on those 91/60/210/10 freeways, most likely due to my original statement above.

Nah. Haven't had ANY of those issues with the item in fact it's really well designed and executed. The plate panel is much thicker than others. Sturdy. I respectfully and completely disagree.

I'm pretty sure I saw something on the same day this was posted to social media that they already had the plate and found the car, but it turned out to be stolen and the plate belonged to a different car. They're just searching for the driver now.

It looked to me like the car passing on the right decided to chase the perpetrator. Or just split to avoid any blame.

But unless that guy did chase the vehicle and get a driver description, they?ll never catch the guy. Stolen vehicle and no plates.

The car on the right was racing as well and was hit by the Gran Coupe so he is part of the "Hit & Run" just the same.
