I tracked it with the Ferodo and it was no real improvement. The Pagid are much much better !

thats weird

I have them on a nissan GTR and they are awesome..

that car is heavier so strange that they are poor on the M2-

others seem to say they are a good bet

just worried the pagids would squeal

The Pagids squeal less and are more performing, at least on my car ;-)

Update on my car. After 2 calm trackdays I had the brake judder problem. After reading up on the problem I thought it was pad deposits on the rotors. These were clearly visible. Brought the car in at BMW and after measuring the 2 rear discs were warped and past the acceptable tolerance. Fronts just within tolerance. Discs will be replaced under warranty....

Excellent news !
Haven't they argued when they noticed that you drove on track (eg tyres) ?
Did you still have your OEM pads or already swapped with Pagid or Ferodo ?

Would be nice if you could send me some info by PM as I might need the same approach in the same country and some references might support the case ;-)
Thanks !

So your RS-29 pads make less noise then Ferodo DS-2500 on the street?

I have done 3x Nurburgring trackdays with the following brake set-up
- Endless ME-20 brake pads
- Steel linings
- ATE blue racing brake oil

Verdict: zero brake fade, zero judder, good bite, good brake balance, no problem when switching back to the OEM pads, a lot of noise (more then RS29)....

Trackday 3 @ Nurburgring

Do you ride with the OEM rims & tyres in 19" or have changed the rims and use other tyres ?

They didn't even mention they noticed I was on track. Just brought it in, drove with the mechanic and they submitted a warranty claim at bmw. They made a video of the tolerances on the discs. Now just waiting for them to come in. Not in stock...

Still have not switched brake pads as I can't find the time.

The noise of my Endless ME-20 pads is driving me crazy on the street, I need to find an hour time to switch them back to street pads....

The Endless seem particularly loud indeed (based on your video) ! The Pagid are rather OK. I have just switched back to OEM as I won't track it before 2 months and it remains though the best option for daily ;-)
