Dealer with 5 2017 DCT's in stock
Not affiliated in any way - but BMW of San Antonio appear to have a large selection of cars available based off the website. Just posting in case this helps anyone out!

That still sounds like a lot coming in. I think the dealer site listings are automated. Even cars that come in pre-sold do show up on there for a few days. I found that out when trying to find a car that I could buy right away....ended up doing the 6 month wait.

That sucks... not sure I'd want a car that I ordered being listed on the website as if it was available. Seems like pretty simple coding to prevent that.
It doesn't help someone like me who has to cast a wide net to locate one. Not into calling around to check on allocations before I can get my name on a list to buy something. |

I think this particular dealership does it because they don't have a long list and if you call them up you can get a build number within a month or so...at least that's how it worked for me. I haven't seen my car up there but I am doing PCD...so I assume that has something to do with it.

Well that's just plain dumb. Luring people in with cars you don't have. I know I would walk any find another dealer. My order was not on my dealer's website.

I hate this too. I fell for this bait last night. I thought BMW of San Antonio had a LBB in stock. I was ready to jump on it and got the email that they had no M2s in stock. I asked, "Why are 3 listed for sale?" Still waiting for a reply...

I really don't see this as deviant behavior on the dealer's part. |

My car was on the boat and I had already paid for it and had all the paperwork in hand and it was listed on my dealers website. They told me that there is something in the system that puts all of the cars on their websites as soon as they are put on the boat, they are shown in-transit. I don't think dealers are trying to do anything here, its just a glitch in the system.

Just like the fake Autotrader ads that used to go out in the books. "Oh that car, we already sold it....BUT" |
