You must've had a nice down payment to get that figure.

Agree. 1.9 is essentially free money.

Agree with you on the car 100%, but the house? Maybe not where you live.
My house has appreciated almost 70% in less than two years.

This is anecdotal. The only time this holds true is if you live in a place where there's a severe shortage. Oakland, CA for all the San Francisco people because SF has ran out of (affordable) homes, NYC (Manhattan) about 15-20 years ago, Toronto. Population booms. For the rest of the country/world, housing doesn't even keep pace with inflation. It returns 1% or less a year.

I paid MSRP minus $2000 for the USAA/BMW rebate. USAA gave me a loan for $46K and some change for 1.99% APR for 60 months. This way my monthly payment is exactly $800. I paid cash for the difference.

Just shared my experience which has been Penfed has offered me consistently lower interest than other lenders. I don't think I said to rule out any other lender, gave an example of a good lender, chill.

Paid $3000 below MSRP. Got a 1.99% through my CU. The dealer said they could finance the whole thing if I took there ridiculous 5% rate. Of course, I went with the credit union and financed $45,000
