I just got an update today from my regional engineer. There is an update to the "steering assistance" EPS programming retrofit but the software isn't available until the July release. I will post an update when the software is released from BMW and if it fixes the issue. It should fix M2/M3/M4 cars.

My M2 also seems to have a slight pull to the right and it is more noticeable in the Sport configuration. Makes me wonder if this isn't a software issue with the electric steering.

The software is out for the pull to the right. Reference SIB 32 01 17. BMW has finally put out a bulletin on the issue. The vehicle will need to be programmed and the "steering assistance" retrofit option checked. The software was just released to dealers this week. Please give feedback to the thread and make sure the dealer gets feedback if it does not fix the issue.

Does it pull right under braking? Does it drift right as you're accelerating in a flat parking lot? Regardless, if it's on your mind, they (BMW) should fix the alignment.

I pick up my M2 tomorrow and I'll let you know what I think

Took it to Peter Pan BMW in Nor Cal Bay Area and they don't seem to be seeing the pull to the right I am seeing. I wrote them an email about the software update to the electric steering but they don't seem interested in trying that if they don't notice the pull to the right issue.

I rather not have any electronic gimmicks dampening the steering, however could be interesting to wait for this firmware file to trickle down to the interwebs, so we can flash the EPS ourselves with the retrofit option or without.

Peter pan in Burlingame. I had it in to check some other stuff and told them the software for pulling to right was out and could they did that too. They said they would have to drive the car and see if it pulls to right. They didn't find anything but installed the software anyway for "Good will"

Hey guys, so I’m having the same issue on my M2. Yes, it wasn’t driven too much. I gues question once they reflash it to referenced SIB, will I have to reinstall my CarPlay and if so could this go back to the same issue of pulling to right?
