Ordered 31/3/16
Discharged from the ship 27/10/16 at 16:00 ish Arrived at the dealer 3/11/16 10:00 ish. Depends on how many cars etc and what Customs choose to inspect. I was told when I ordered to expect two weeks from discharge to delivery so 8 days is nice. In tIme for a weekend of bonding.... |

My ship docked in Melbourne according to the dealer on Friday 28th October.
The Melbourne Cup long weekend may have lost me a few days but the M2 reaches my dealer on 8th November with delivery 9th or 10th hence 11-13 days. |

What a car! Exhaust sounds like a junior Ferrari. Why buy the M3 or M4! I have been down the path of mods and really a waste of money but of course a personal decision. Trip back to Melbourne with the cruise on 110 and the car went straight as a gun barrel with hands off the wheel (but close). 2000 kms can't come soon enough. |

Yep, I've got 16 November. Why are they taking so long delivering your car? You were on the ship before me. Very strange.

But, finance has settled now, will pick it up tomorrow! Should be interesting, first thing I'm going to check are the tyres! Praying for Michelin's. Enjoy your ride! Just around the corner! |

M2 Bonding Drive
Hi,
Not sure if this is the right thread but figured a lot of Melbourne people here, if not hopefully a moderator can point me in the right direction. Getting excited for my M2 delivery and planning a Bavarian welcome - alpine roads, chalet hospitality and a strict diet of schnitzel and schnapps. What do you guys think - any suggestions/improvements? (Click on the pic for a bigger version) Cheers, LP p.s. apparently this will work too https://goo.gl/maps/SmobBAc8eDn |

FYI road from Kevington to Walhalla is unsealed in large sections (Google estimating 4 hours to cover 120km). So probably need to do the Dinner Plain route or stick to one side of the divide. Cheers, LP |

Yep! Picked it up, was very smooth!
They did well with the car, I checked the car for contaminants, pretty much perfect condition. I got Michelin's! Thank god! + Must drive it home with the traction off, press the button for a second. The Exhaust sounds amazing with paddle shifters! Here are some photos! pic upload |

My car was due to be built in week 46 which is this week. I rang the dealer today to find out if thy they had start building the car and he advised me that the car has already been built and has left the plant. The car has not got a vessel assigned for shipping yet.
Hopefully I can get a VIN number tomorrow so that I can track it. I have looked at the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics website, which I assume will be the shipping company. They have the following ships scheduled to depart the Port of Bremerhaven for Melbourne over the next few week. Parsifal Departs 16 Nov Arrives 1 Jan 17 Tosca Departs 16 Nov Arrives 25 Dec 16 Themis Departs 22 Nov Arrives 4 Jan 17 Tuuca Departs 24 Nov Arrives 8 Jan 17 Don Juan Departs 30 Nov Arrives 6 Jan 17 I'm not sure if they are all car carriers. Does anyone know which ship the car is likely to get on. Either way it looks like I will get it mid Jan.

Been told mine will be ready tomorrow. Somehow I doubt it will happen, but you never know. Did you get the HK sound system?
