maybe its just me but i dont get why people are so turned off by dealers that will add a ADM. if i have something no one else has, shouldnt i be able to price it how i see fit? if a company owns something shouldn't they be able to establish the sales price? its not unethical or "naughty"...its not even bad business. its actually the practice of real market value.
Why would a buyer feel they deserve the right to buy a car from a dealer, at a price lower than someone else is currently willing to pay |

If I dealer is going to make as much as possible on a car why would you think you would ever get a good deal from that dealer on anything else? |

You getting your deal in writing doesnt force them to stick to their list they can just keep pushing you down the list Last edited by firestarter2; 06-27-2016 at 06:04 PM.. |

FWIW I bought Patrick BMWs HEA car for $500 below sticker and then got the $1500 fleet discount. So paid 2k below MSRP. Not sure they belong on your bad guy list for this reason.

They weren't on the list for charging over sticker, they were on the list for admitting they were taking deposits on cars that they will never deliver.

I was just informed that Century West BMW (already on the list) just sold their showroom car for $25k over and the next one will be no less than $20k over retail. At least it's coming down lol...
Just spoke with a rep from Pacific BMW who said they're asking for $5k over. The trend seems like the initial rush demand is coming down along with the markups. Good signs. |

All, I have posted my experiences with Rusnak on the forums before but I will reiterate that they are to be avoided when it comes to M cars. They treat M3s as though they are a GT3RS. Even once they drop the price of their M2s in the future, be careful as they will bump up rates above the base rates and will do very shady math that they are not willing to let you take home a deal sheet. They straight up made up a down payment amount I didn't agree to and then presented it as an amount off of MSRP on an M3. I wrote all of the numbers down and realized they were being unethical in their presentation. I returned when another associate assured me it was some sort of mistake just to come back and be offered an even worse deal. I wish there was something I could do to report them as them lying like this blatantly was a huge waste of time.

My dealership is only charging me MSRP but is forcing me to buy a few accessories that I'm not sure I would otherwise buy, the most expensive of which is the M Performance Exhaust and the carbon fiber exhaust tips which, combined, add $4,500 to the MSRP. At least I'm getting something for the extra money though.

Sterling BMW in Newport Beach has a white M2, DCT with a $10,000 markup. I went to check it out in person last Saturday.
