January production

Got an email from Germany;

"Thank you for having chosen a product from our company. Attached you can find your order confirmation with all details
concerning your vehicle order. Please carefully verify that the order is complete.

In addition, we have scheduled a tentative date for the production of your vehicle. The expected production month of your car is January 2016. The vehicle will be manufactured to the highest quality standards at one of our production plants. Of course, we will contact you again once your car has been manufactured.
"

So hopefully I should have it in March.

Hi all Swedes :-)
As I can see from the thread, its only one person that has received a confirmation week.
Anything new from somebody else?
I will call my dealer later this week just to verify that I have the current info.
If you hear anything, please inform us all so that we can be updated.
Thanks
Robert

No one has gotten a production week yet. There are no allocations yet, the only ones that have got a PW are a few foreigners that have persuaded their dealers to sell them HEA (dealer demo) cars.

Are you going for some modifications on the M2 when you get it delivered or try to keep it stock?

Im thinking of some MPP and maybee wrap some parts in glossblack.

I have a few things planed to order as soon as they are available.

- M Performance steering wheel
- M Performance rear spoiler
- M Performance gear shifter
- M Performance handbrake
- M Performance side gills
- M Performance kidney grilles
- M Performance diffuser
- M Performance mirror covers

Than depending on price and sound M Performance exhaust or Akrapovic. I will also add the M Performance suspension during the year and probably some new wheels too and use the stock wheels for winters.

2017 BMW M2  [0.00]
Mine is only going to be a summer toy and used for blasting down the E18 on my frequent trips to Arlanda therefore, i'm going to do a it on the cheap (CF-wrap feber):

M Performance rear spoiler
Either M Performance kidney grilles or just wrap them
CF wrap roof
CF wrap mirrors / side gills
CF wrap rear diffuser
M Performance exhaust or Akrapovic (once I hear how it sounds stock).

I'm considering wrapping the leading edge of the front splitter as i'm sure this will get covered in stone chips as I live out in the woods with gravel roads. I'm also looking at doing the lower edge of the side stills, depending on how it looks.

Maybe someone with a friendly dealer could sot out a M Performance groupbuy?

I buy all M Performance parts from Leebmann24. A lot cheaper than in Sweden.

Most places are much cheaper than Sweden, hence the endless deliveries from Amazon.co.uk/de/fr to my local ICA

Hi,

I have now received some information from my sales representative at BMW.
He has been in contact with BMW sales office and this is their statement;

" The quotes for the Nordic countries are known and it will not be reduced to be able to serve other markets.
The orders will be sorted accordingly to order date, meaning that early orders will be first served"

For me; following would be reality.
Order sent to BMW sales office the 22th of October - early order.
Estimated production is set to March/April.
Final confirmation will be sent out at the end of January, if March production is realized.

Hope this helped out some of you guys.
BR

Cool! My order went in on October 14th so I guess it is an early order too. I'll just go to sleep now then and ask someone to wake me up in april.

Yeah, you are most likely one in the top.
Checked rapidly with the biggest M-dealers in Sweden and concluded that most likely it's 25-30 M2 on order YTD.
It's a wild guess....
Cheers

M Performance parts

I've asked "my guy" to look into the following;

- The black gloss trim grilles

- The rear spoiler in carbon fibre

- The BMW M Performance steering wheel with Alcantara cover and an open-pore carbon fibre trim element

- The BMW M Performance gear selection lever complete with trim element for the M twin-clutch transmission

- The BMW M Performance rear diffusor in carbon fibre.

- The BMW M Performance coil over system for the M2.

- The BMW M Performance front and rear aerodynamic ”winglets”

And I've asked this to be installed in factory and delivered with. He said he would take care of it, so as soon as I hear back, I'll let you guys know.

Those are all things that can't be factory installed but will be installed at/by the dealer or maybe in Halmstad if they do those things there too.

Hope not Halmstad.....
Do believe the dealer will make all the alternations as usual.
If anybody has the price for the Mperformance coilovers, please let me know.
This is the part I personally is interested in (KW V3 suspension).
