There's an M4 that I see a few times a week on my way home from work - he has the LEDs and they are significantly brighter than my Xenons.
Same thing with my gf's Q3 - the LEDs are brighter and have a sharper line than my lights. More "white" too - in comparison, mine have a hint of yellow.

Prior to that, there would not be so many versions with the previous M cars. I really think the CS would be the only special model of the M2 for this iteration. Having said that, I do sincerely hope and pray that the CS is really a CSL or close to it. |

Let's have a go at deciphering this.
Over the past couple of years, Scott26 gave several hints about BMW M developing an M2 variant to which he referred as "the sibling", "the secondary car", "an M2 with widened aerodynamic kit", "a more hardcore M2", "a more harder edged M car", etc. (see here - "Let's discuss the M2 CS rumor"). 1. With "spoiler", Scott26 is IMHO referring to a splitter inspired by the GT6 Vision Concept. I remember that, last Summer, he posted a render of a white M2 with ///M livery (see below) with the phrase "An M2 is testing a new aerodynamic aid similar to this." (see here). As we know, the GT6 Vision Concept created by BMW served as inspiration for future M2 models. The 'base' M2 got some styling cues of the GT6 Vision Concept (see the dedicated thread here - "Visual analysis: BMW M2 getting several cues from the BMW Vision Concept GT6"). The future M2 variant(s) may get more styling cues of the GT6 Vision Concept. GT6 Vision Concept: Base M2 - front end partially inspired by the GT6 Vision Concept: Render - front end more inspired by the GT6 Vision Concept (integrated splitter) - eventually considered for a future M2 variant: 'Base' M2: Render - front end more inspired by the GT6 Vision Concept: GT6 Vision Concept: We got to use our imagination and hope for the best: 2. If, with "spoiler", Scott26 does not refer to a splitter inspired by the GT6 Vision Concept, than I guess he refers to a future M4 air intake design. It moves away from the 'base' M2 'fangs' design towards a more circular air intake design à la 2002tii and E46 M3 CSL. In fact, also last Summer, Scott26 posted the following future M4 detail with the phrase "And there is an M4 testing something similar to this. Which is a rendering." (see here): E46 M3 CSL: 3. Maybe during the base M2 development, BMW M already conceived (at least on paper) some ///M goodies like a CF roof, dedicated sports seats and dedicated mirrors (to name a few), but in the end reserved those for future M2 variants (making it easier to distinguish the more expensive M2 variant(s) from the 'base' M2) ? Alike the Porsche philosophy: don't give away all the goods too quick. Hopefully someday all so-called 'icon' boxes indicated below, will be ticked for the M2:

That's a good question, in terms of how this might be measured - no empirical evidence that I know of, but I would say the whiter aspect of the light itself is noticeable. There's just more ooomph to the light if that makes sense.
