I would want to do all 5 areas, and I'm happy to remove the bumper to make it look as factory as possible.

1. Does your mesh match the Zunsport at all?
2. Is Zunsport who you recommend for the lower areas?
3. You've done all areas on yours, right? Which brand did you go with for the bottom 3? Can it be adapted to the OG?
4. Any plans to produce a full 5-section kit? I'll be first in line to buy

I bought this kit. Its close to the Zunsport.. Might not be perfect but they sit far enough apart where you can't tell. This is them on my OG. I do recommend the FaRKle kit. If you decide to get the Zunsport for the other three sections, you can use my code for 15% off. 100648374

1) Other than both being rhombic patterns, they don't really match IMO. I never intended for mine to match theirs, mainly because mine all sits behind the stock, BMW elements, while theirs sits in front. My mesh is subtle and you won't really notice it unless paying attention to finer details. The pattern of the mesh I use was inspired by the mesh I saw that Porsche uses on the GT3.

2) I mainly recommend Zunsport for the lower since they're the only "off the shelf" option, and therefore easier for most people.

3) Yup, I've installed my mesh behind all open elements of my bumper. It looks more clean than "in front of the elements" meshes, since they cover up and change the look of the lower openings that BMW designed.

4) I'm not really planning on making off the shelf versions of the lower openings' mesh since the market of people willing to remove their bumper to install is small, and I don't have a good way of doing it without drilling for the fastener mounts (well one could tie wrap it to the stock grilles there, but that's not quite as clean as I like).

Thanks for the feedback and great pics!

Don't forget about me if you make a full set, the money is burning a hole in my pocket (and I'm not so well-off like a lot of these guys). I think there is a clear need for this, so mine is a standing offer sir!

I mean if you are ok with taking the bumper off why not follow farkles video and get it done? Then can do same mesh on both. I need to get it done just been lazy taking the bumper off in my driveway.

That's probably what I'll do this Winter when she's sleeping for 3 months.

Met Farkle earlier today as he lives nearby to pick up a set of kidney grill mesh kit. He installed the screen in less than half hour. I highly recommend his product and service, and if you're local he will install the screen for you. Such a cool guy, thanks Drew!

Fixed, thanks!

If I make a batch of M2C lower grille mesh kits (sides and center) for $300, who else would be interested?

Would that be the price for sides, lower center, & upper grill (4 areas)? If so.. I would be interested!

That'd just be for the lower grilles (CONUS shipping included).
