Just heard some great news from Specialised Covers! I am looking forward to seeing all the cover designs you choose I am happy I could help you guys out with this offer.
Next thing I will be looking into next month is coding and then specifically in Europe. I would love to help the European members with this. MR |

The shipping cost via FedEx (200 BPD) are a little prohibitive for the Canadian market. I will look with them if other alternatives can be possible to reduce the shipping cost.

Got some info for Canadian/US market orders for the Specialised Covers:
- discount is 35 GBP - covers can ship in boxes of 4 for a shipping cost of 200 GBP (ie 50 GBP each) What I do not like about the "special" is the customer has the burden to find 3 others interested customer to be shipped. If anyone is interested in making a group of 4 for the Montreal, Canada area, PM me. I will try to get a better deal.

How are the specialized covers for outdoor use? Will there be quite a bit of fade and will it hold up to snow and ice? I like the look of the black cover, though shipping costs make it a little less attractive.

They make different types for indoor and outdoor use. There are two types for outdoor,a temporary cover for short term use and a heavier duty type with a fleece lining for long term storage. Both types are breathable. |

Even with the MR discount, the Specialized Covers are too expensive to be shipped to Canada (poor Canadian dollar vs GBP). I am going with the BMW OEM cover p/n 82-15-2-350-053 (275 CAD$ vs 700 CAD$ for the Specialized).
I will post pictures soon.
