Huh... really? When driving at low rpms in comfort mode and switch to sport, do you still get an increase in cabin noise? If you installed it right, there should be no increase in cabin noise under this circumstance; that was strictly an ASD artifact.. IF you still get the volume increase, something is wrong with the installation or the harness.

Does your tune get rid of the ASD sound without the harness?

Hi, I don't get this increase this artificial increase in volume , but I thought I will also get more engine and exhaust sound into the cabin with the ADS bypass. I checked my tune and it doesn't do any ADS sound bypass either .

That's weird, especially since youve got the Akrapovic. I find the natural exhaust and engine note with ASD removed to be more than ample to let me know Im driving a sports car. To me, its just the right amount of sound. And Im still on the stock exhaust.. I guess to each his own.

Getting rid of ASD doesn’t do anything to increase the natural exhaust sound.

Best thing to do is just roll down your windows.

I dont even need to do that to get ample exhaust sound in the cabin from my stock exhaust.. Maybe I have sensitive ears or something. I cant imgine that his Akropovic doesnt infiltrate the cabin sufficiently. But I guess some folks just like it Really LOUD in there, but prefer the authentic volume as opposed to the synthetic piped in volume from heinous ASD.

I've been doing that and really enjoy it! Only drawback is that the interior is getting dusty very quickly.

I stand corrected, I was under the impression that the ASD will somehow "reduce" the exhaust note inside the cabin and it will also ad some artificial engine sound into the speakers. Bypassing that should give you more natural sounds all around

No ASD just adds artificial engine sounds into the cabin. There is no noise cancellation.
