Trunk Organizer

There was some discussion on one of the forums about a "grocery mode" for our cars. I don't really need a mode, per se, but I absolutely need a way to keep junk from end up all over the trunk when doing basic errands. In my previous cars there has been a vertical net about 15" into the trunk from the rear bumper. My solution was to stick a trunk organizer in this space and voila, no muss no fuss. But, given the available net for the 2 series, this isn't an option.

Of course, there are four substantive tie-downs in the trunk of our cars. So I decided to get a soft-sided trunk organizer and have tie wraps sewed to the sides such that they line up with the tie downs near the rear bumper.

I got this organizer because it's wide enough to span the two tie downs: http://www.trunkorganizer.com/p/6-wa...organizer.html
I used velcro cable wraps that I had lying around: http://www.amazon.com/VELCRO-Brand-O...rch_detailpage

I had a shoe and boot repair shop do the attach. Their machine can fit into the wells of the organizer, a normal sewing machine cannot.

Here's the result:

It works great!
