Mirror not folding down in reverse

It used to fold down when in reverse, but one day it stopped working.

I do have coded things through bimmercode, but I'm thinking it's independent from it since it stopped working randomly one day, long after my last coding session.

Anyone else have this problem?

Check the switch you side left/right when adjusting the side mirrors. I think it needs to be on the left side for the tilt to work during reverse.

I believe you are talking about mirrors folding in. I meant when in reverse, the actual mirror is supposed to bend down a little to show the ground.

Yes, the switch needs to be switched to driver side window so the passenger side can auto rotate down on reverse.

Same selector switch just dont select the side that tilts down when you back up.
