All these warped rotors are probably pad deposits. Buy a rotor hone and put it on a drill and clean off your rotors then re-bed your street pads. DO NOT TRACK on your oem pads. Switch to a track pad and bed it in before use.

Got mine replaced under warranty 1000kms ago and already need new ones... OEM disks are as bad as they get, I think I'll try to replace them under warranty again and then immediately upgrade with proper aftermarket disks.

Which KM do you have with your car yet ? In which country / region are you based ? Interesting to know to understand when they do accept or not to replace them under warranty... |

There are some way better rotors available: https://www.turnermotorsport.com/BMW...w-brake-rotors https://www.dinancars.com/product/br...f83-m4-f87-m2/ By the way, I have Pagid RSL1 pads installed now and still got "deposits".

We should talk to GiroDisc. Quality 2piece rotors. Just got some for the TTRS.

Once I have my M2, I'll definitely ask them about it.
Need to try to figure out private sale for the TTRS first... dealership gave me a preliminary trade value and it's garbage.

I had the same issue with my OEM pads on track. I installed the RS29s on all four corners. It took a long time to get things cleaned up, including several track days. My rotors are now smooth as glass. I just reinstalled the OEM pads today, so I'll have more to report tomorrow.

Just got my LCI M2 about two weeks ago...adore it, but the brakes felt a little uneven by the time I got it home. Not horrible, but noticeably irregular. Since I didn't know the car yet, I chalked it up to that. I didn't really notice the issue until I finally got a chance to do a proper canyon run, and definitely noticed shaking and vibration at high speed. When they cooled, I put my finger to the rotors and they're completely uneven and I don't think it's pad deposit. Nothing visible on the rotors at all. Just major peaks and valleys when you run your finger along the rotor.
So - A couple questions: *Car still has two years of Warranty left, but it has 21k on it, my guess is the chances of warranty are slim? (BMW will claim normal wear, but this isn't normal, imho) *Is there a good intermediate pad out there that isn't as soft as OEM, but not as hard as Pagid? I will track the car about 4-5 times a year at most, other than that it will be canyon runs (no heavy braking, I use momentum for the most part) and street use. Thanks in advance...

I've had the opposite experience, having multiple sets of rotors turned in the past, at $12 each, which cured the deposit problem easily. The only issue I have ever had with turning the rotor is that it gets to minimum thickness much quicker, but it beats the hell out of replacing them.
