Mirrors fold in/out not in sync?

Anyone else notice their side mirrors not folding in or out at the exact same rate? Nothing major but my drivers side seems to lag about a second behind the passenger side. Don't think it's really a problem but just wondering if anyone else notice this on their car or if it's just mine

Same for me. Drivers side reacts with a slight delay compared to passenger.

Not only that, but they don't retract the same amount. One is almost an inch closer to the window than the other. Had them check it out when it was in for 1200 mile service and they said it was "normal" The 2018 3 series they gave me while my car was being serviced had the same problem. I think it is the same for all.

Well yeah lol, why would they fold at the exact same speed if they stick out at different angles? One is mirror is always going to end it's cycle sooner than the other because it has a shorter distance to travel to fully fold. That's just the way it is unless you own a mclaren F1 or someother car where your seat is in the middle.

What they could do is make one motor work a little quicker than the other just so they appear to fold simultaneously but i guess that's an added headache/expense they don't feel like sorting out/paying for.

It's normal. Just ignore it.
