2023 also gets suspension and steering updates in addition to the manual so I'm excited to see the reviews for those. So far they seem really positive but I don't think anyone has had extensive time behind the wheel yet. |

The CTR will probably have the best quality interior quality of the non-RWD “hot” segment, if not counting VW group cars. I loved driving the GR86, but the interior felt so econobox to me. So cheap and just felt too 20-year-old boy-racer. Phenomenal vehicle though! If the GR Corolla’s interior is anything like the GR86 and BRZ, it’d be super difficult for me to accept. Then again, I’m entering a cranky old-man phase!

Supra with a manual? Tasty option. Cayman might be better money spent, but the cayman is quite clinical in feel. It’s extremely capable, but lacking a sense of humor about itself that the Supra seems to have a bit more (much like the manual M2, which is an absolute personality-and-a-half).

I like the Corolla or at least the idea of it. But it might be just a bit too expensive. I want something small that’s no frills like a Fiat 500 Abarth again. Something light, no screens, analog dials. All that tech weighs a lot.

I would think there are some steep discounts on the Supra since they're not selling well. I checked out cars.com and there are some advertised at $2K off MSRP, I'm assuming you can get more if you haggle. Then again at the top of the list there's ADMs too so who knows.

The A91 MT isn’t selling or causing a whirlwind in the market as was expected. Examples with <500 miles on auction platforms have failed to meet reserve prices at or slightly above MSRP. The ADM tactics of dealers are backfiring as well. The Supra just isn’t that special. Great car. I’ve gotten street and track seat time in it. However, it is not a cult classic or special vehicle that warrants significant ADM or speculation. Many cars these days are posited to be “special” and to create their own demand surges, but it’s not sustainable or real. Bubbles are forming around GR Corolla, Special Edition GR86, A91, 8Y RS3, and countless others.
