Spent the weekend at CTMP/Mosport, the shoulders of my front MPSSes are in brutal shape so they won't be seeing any more track use. I've got my camber plates (but not in time to install) and next spring they'll get some dedicated track wheels & tires. It was a good weekend at the track despite several pretty hairy moments.

Replaced all chrome and reflectors. Used IND Black Chrome pieces. Very nice.

You inspired me with colour matching of the petrol/gas pumps, so it was fortunate that the dealer had chosen the correct colour of lifts for their workshop. Helps ease the OCD pain!!! |

I fitted Autoid Mirrors then discovered I had lightly kerbed my front offside alloy. Happy moment - Sad moment, such is life.
On the bright side I don't really like the shadowy stock alloy finish with my Mineral Grey paint so I am going for all 4 to be refurbed in deep metallic bronze |

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that, I was thinking just refurb completely in Bronze and lose the diamond cut area.
Like this on the M2 Safety Car https://www.topgear.com/car-news/mod...2-safety-car#1 But in a more subtle deep bronze rather than gold, I have a feeling it will look pretty good against MG paint |

Did RKP rear diffuser install myself. Tried last weekend and failed with a weaker pry tool. Ordered a larger set of soft plastic pry tools to get the tabs out. Washed and taped up the edge to avoid any damage to the paint. Had no idea what I was doing. Some fitment issues, not sure if that's me, or the diffuser, or just that plastic diffuser is easier to bend into position compared to CF. My friend claims to not be able to see any fitment issues without putting his face under the car. Tomorrow I will wash the whole car and do the RKP CF spoiler, the black m2 badge, and black license plate frame. If I don't like that I will switch the plate and badge back to chrome.

What don't you like about it? I have my issues with it but it does add a bit more contrast which I like. I also like it's not something I am seeing on every single M2. I think it helps the CF mirror caps blend a bit better with the car.
I don't like up close from above seeing bits of the LBB paint through the comfort access (you can choose not to get comfort access on the covers). I don't like that it's a cover instead of a full handle replacement. From the distance I mostly see the car I like the way it looks. It's easy to remove, I just end up wasting some cash. |

Confirmed my reservation to get detail with CQ Pro applied. Body and full wheel-off application along with the calipers. November 13 and 14. Will post pics.
