Recommandation needed! Service center Near NYC

Anyone had experience with the service center of BMW Manhattan? My M2C is about to hit 20k miles and I want a decent service center to take care of the car.
Other recommandations are also welcomed.

Thanks!

I had pretty good experiences with BMW of Mt. Laurel. Definitely avoid BMW of Brooklyn.

I took my previous M235i to the BMW of Manhattan. It was a no event, everything that had to be done was done. Definitely avoid the Brooklyn one.

Haha got it. So BMW is relatively okay. Do you have a recommended SA?

Sorry man, I don’t have their names on the record, and it’s been 7 years or so since I visited them. Judging by the reviews at dealerrater I’d be very careful to thread that water https://www.dealerrater.com/dealer/B...an-review-155/
My preferred dealership is BMW of Springfield (former JMK) - 45 min drive from the city.

Sorry I was meant to say Manhattan BMW.
Anyway, do you have a recommanded SA at springfield?
I heard from others that Springfield service is pretty good

My SA is Mike G. Highly recommended, I moved to NJ a couple of years ago, and on my first service visit to the Springfield dealer I already had a loaner arranged even though I didn’t ask for it
The last service visit was 2 days before the extended warranty was up on my M235i (it had blown the charge pipe right around the 50K mile mark and 6 years), Mike made sure that all last before the warranty kaboom items were taken care of, including the oil leaks, etc. everything provided with a video walk through of an issue and a detailed service record.

BMW of Ridgefield in CT seems pretty good from my experience.

They seem to have experience with lots of M cars, and have a relatively low volume due to location.

The bar is set pretty low for BMW service in the tri state area, but I had oil change service done w/ Ridgefield and they didn't wash the car, didn't take it out for a drive, answered all my questions, even gave me a bit of a discount on the oil change.

I also had a loose bolt holding up my exhaust, and Ridgefield helped diagnose the problem, looked at pics texted to the SA, and offered a resolution all over the phone without telling me the standard line of "bring the car in".

I also like the mom and pop feel of a dealer, unlike some massive high volume dealerships found on Long Island and Jersey, where there are more variables for a fuck up or someone not following instructions like unauthorized test drives, curbing wheels, hand torquing lugs. etc.

Let us know your experience and which stealership you went to.

Don't go to BMW of Manhattan. They're god awful and get away with it because it's a corporate owned dealership. Go to Wide World, ask for Steve K, and ask him to get Jesse to work on your car.
