Had a chance to try out some awesome wheels. First is the BBS RIA in Diamond Black. These wheels are extremely light, forged and they look absolutely fantastic.
18x10 et25 18x11 et37 The fronts have so much room and can easily accommodate the 18x10.5 +22 that is available. Only thing is that this specific size is more concave than the 18x11. So from an aesthetics view point it may look a little off. Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 265/35-18 295/30-18 Last edited by ebisu8; 08-18-2020 at 08:30 AM.. |

Just -2.5 F/R, honestly the front has tons or room. My current setup is 18x10 et 20 up front with 265/35, no rubbing or anything. My e88s are even better with 10.5 up front

Did you roll your fenders at all?

I rolled the fronts, the rears aren't needed. It's a shame that the fronts weren't trimmed like the rears.

Had the opportunity to try out some lovely wheels, BBS FI-R's in GOLD. Now I'm not a fan of 19" wheels but these are flat out incredible. Forged, extreme light weight and they flow really well on the F8x platform. I definitely would consider a set down the road although they make my AP Essex look so tiny!

I'm not too concerned with power/tunes just yet as I still feel like there is ample power, for me. I found a deal on some BMC filters so I did that along with removing the charcoal filters. That definitely unleashed a bit of spooling and whooshing for sure!

Alas, my custom spec BBS E88's finally are on the car. As I've mentioned there was a goal and these were always in the cards. I ordered them on 5/1 and I got to pick them up from BBS on 10/1, just a short 5 month wait. Without swapping out the stock brakes and proper coilovers, I wouldn't be able to run these.
Most folks would just go with standard specs, standard face and call it a day. I knew I wanted more and I wanted something that most would not do on their M2/M2C specfic to E88s. I knew I wanted 2.5" lips front and rear, there was an option to do 3" lips but the lip/face design was not something I was after and I believe this a cleaner look. End result is as follows: 18x10.5 18x11 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 Connect (240) 265/35 295/30 Michelins are a bit more fitment friendly as they come with a rounded sidewall vs the likes of a Yokohama A052 which has a more squared sidewall. I haven't even touched my suspension settings yet to further dial this setup in. I'll be taking them off at the end of the month to do some suspension upgrades but I definitely wanted to rock these while it's still nice out here in GA! slicer and I worked well together on this, we look forward to seeing more F87's with this type of setup. This is #slicerspec at its finest! Last edited by ebisu8; 11-29-2021 at 08:17 PM.. |

It's pretty darn good, I suspect we can get more out of this car with some additional tweaking. I didn't post offsets as I won't be sharing them outwardly. Happy to help you or anyone else when you're ready to purchase a setup like this. As always feel free to message me on IG by clicking the image in my signature.

They are my "winter" wheels . The Cup2s don't do well in the cold/rain.

Initially I thought I was set with my BMW Performance V1 steering wheel but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to fit a KMP wheel in my car. While the OEM wheel was great with OEM alcantara and polar blue stripe it's one of the things I just had to have for this car.
Yes, I lose convenience, some functionality but at the end of the day, I'm ok with not having the steering wheel functions. The KMP wheel is a bit smaller at 330mm vs OEM which I believe is 400mm. Last edited by ebisu8; 11-29-2021 at 08:21 PM.. |

Question on the above, I just checked FC's website and these are already sold out? Do you know of anywhere else that can order them?

You've outdone yourself with this one, wow.
I've got an Alpine White Z4M Roadster and I cannot wait to get gold wheels on it, it looks so good.
