I've had the parts quoted by my local BMW Parts Manager and the cost difference is negligible between importing and buying locally. Better chance of having installation thrown in too. MPE was ~$4800 incl tips. |

I got my production number today. Is there anyway I can use it to track my car production status?

I didn't think the MPE was ADR approved, if not that's probably why it's not showing up on the dealers parts list, i had the same problem when i tried buying the Perf Exhaust for my 135i, i ended up having to buy it from elsewhere.

BMW Performance Part
Those that have bought BMW Performance part such as CF spoiler, diffuser, mirrors, Black Grills, where are you buying them from?
I've got some prices from the dealer and some other suppliers in Australia and they are fairly pricey. SouthernBM has provided the best price so far. When I got my 135i I bought them from United BMW from the USA and there was a hugh saving compared to Australia. I tried emailing United however my emails bounce back so not sure if they are still around. Most of the others don't ship to Australia.

Spoke to my supplying dealer Klosters BMW in Newcastle today, the MPE exhaust not being sold by BMW Australia, parts guy emailed and spoke to Melbourne, they stated yes there are two MPE in BMW parts in Melbourne that were ordered by mistake,at the moment they will not be selling as no ADR,same for MP suspension.
Not happy can source from Schiedmann in Denmark ,also Bimmerworld in USA.Cost landed about 10% less than BMW originally quoted before BMW Melbourne pulled rank. |

Just had a look at prices from all of these suppliers. Unfortunately due to a weak Aussie dollar, there is not much of a saving. Once you include shipping costs it's probably going to be the same as buying in Australia.

[QUOTE=Prodigy.;20429214]How much are places like SouthernBm charging for the MPE?[
The M2 M Performance Exhaust is available to order for $5,799 with Titanium tips or $6,299 with Carbon tips including freight Australia-wide. Not to bad would cost from Bimmerworld USA about $5800 with shipping, duty and gst for MPE and carbon tips so saving about $500. Last edited by Thevintage; 08-18-2016 at 07:26 AM.. |

What's everyone able to get the exhaust (MPE) and tips in USD? Exclude deliver, taxes etc for now, just for comparisons. |
