You can buy the M235i performance front grilles though which are half the price of the M2 onces and just swap out the chrome surrounds to the black on your stock ones.
Out of interest- if you get m235i grilles, do they get rid of the silly "m2" on the front grille? I'm not a fan of the m-badging on the car and that may be enough to sway me.

If you use the full M235i performance grille you will get rid of the M2 badge however you will also unfortunately lose the M specific double slats.

How was the Blackvue install. Did you remove the headliner to hide the wires?

I ended up getting it professionally installed, they ran the wiring through the factory wiring loom for a neat install and to avoid any of the airbags.

Everything except the front bumper where the PPF is, installer applied a PPF specific sealer on that area which negated the need for the Opti-coat on there.

Yeh fair call. I will probably do the same thing and I'll do the same day I collect the car if possible.

Yes, if you are looking to get the PPF done I'd advise do it sooner rather than later, mine was supposed to of been done within a day or 2 of collecting the car but the company cancelled on me twice, i ended up getting 2 stone chips on the front bumper even though i hardly drove the car, only 90kms.

Finally took delivery today

I've had the front and side grills, the rear diffuser and wing installed for delivery and it looks amazing I am totally in love with this car, will update sometime on Sunday AEST with full driving impressions but so far this feels like the right choice such a playful car not as big and scary as the F80 M3 and a lot torquier than the E92 so it seems to be that just right bowl of porridge :thump:
(I'm aware this now makes me goldilocks, but I'm too excited to care lol

Looks great. They are a much better looking car in the flesh than pictures.

Even better driving one than looking at pictures too (just like sex.....)

So to all Aussies who have taken delivery, did you get the first day of the BMW advanced driving course free from BMW with your car?

I.e I am under the impression that it is included free by BMW Australia with all M models. Am I correct?
