A can of Rustoleum high temp black paint will fix the low hanging udders. Worked magic on my e92 MPE's. I know some guys like that well endowed look though.

damn that muffler.. so low youd probably scrape it on the wheelstoppers..
if I got this car, an exhaust mod or even a straight pipe would be my first mod..

I wish we could get some real specific tech data from Scott such as the weight of the 788M wheels.

Here's a pic of the same 788M wheel you referenced, but at a different angle with better lighting. |

Well, I always thought the rear of the M2 was weakest in terms of styling... with the muffler it got a little worse.
But overall, I do like it in the HS color. Wheels are little conservative for my tastes, but as usual, the M2 always looks best in real life vs pics. |

Woah.. is that muffler serious? Is there something up with the exhaust hangars on that press car? Something looks off--it's way, way too bulgey/low. Maybe it was just shoehorned in there from the M4 and that's just how it ended up but damn.. something ain't right. Are the stock and MPE mufflers seriously just that much more compact?

Bmw is smart they made a low hanging muffler and will correct the issue with the MPE and make $$.
Aftermarket companies will correct this issue as well. Last edited by chmura; 04-25-2018 at 10:14 PM.. |

Muffler is bad. It was bad on the test cars, was hoping that would be fixed by launch. Factor in cost of MPE for M2C (for cosmetic reasons).
