How did they think this was ok?

A can of Rustoleum high temp black paint will fix the low hanging udders. Worked magic on my e92 MPE's. I know some guys like that well endowed look though.

damn that muffler.. so low youd probably scrape it on the wheelstoppers..

if I got this car, an exhaust mod or even a straight pipe would be my first mod..

I wish we could get some real specific tech data from Scott such as the weight of the 788M wheels.

These 788M wheels are the ones with a two tone finish, machined face with black windows. Just like the 437M wheels. 788M wheels are also available in all gray.

Here's a pic of the same 788M wheel you referenced, but at a different angle with better lighting.

This muffler is not only low but it's too wide and the shape is horrible! Is it possible that they had to make it this shape to try and deepen the exhaust tone?

Looks right to me. Doesn’t seem BMW has ever stepped away from the M racing stripe length.

I didn't think of that. I guess they couldn't really change the stripes. I would have preferred a black C after the 2.

Well, I always thought the rear of the M2 was weakest in terms of styling... with the muffler it got a little worse.

But overall, I do like it in the HS color. Wheels are little conservative for my tastes, but as usual, the M2 always looks best in real life vs pics.

Woah.. is that muffler serious? Is there something up with the exhaust hangars on that press car? Something looks off--it's way, way too bulgey/low. Maybe it was just shoehorned in there from the M4 and that's just how it ended up but damn.. something ain't right. Are the stock and MPE mufflers seriously just that much more compact?

Bmw is smart they made a low hanging muffler and will correct the issue with the MPE and make $$.

Aftermarket companies will correct this issue as well.

Totally agree, hoping the MPE will fix that. BMW has to be aware of how hideous that thing looks.

Muffler is bad. It was bad on the test cars, was hoping that would be fixed by launch. Factor in cost of MPE for M2C (for cosmetic reasons).

Can’t remember the last car I left the exhaust stock.
