Go to dealer, its common issue in m2 m3 m4 cars. Had also in my car, after repair I do hear it much less, maybe also other side of car needs to be done.

I got the diff clunk solved under warranty. Apparently BMW replaced (and glued) an "eccentric hex bolt" between the driveshaft and differential. No more clunkning going on and off throttle or from drive to reverse
