This part of the wait is worse than it was when I didn't have an allocation. Feels so close. I just want to drive the freaking thing!

I'm having anxiety waiting for my car to go into production. The closer it gets to production week (43) with no news of production having started, the more I think BMW is going to call me up and say "sorry, your M2 has been canceled."

I share your same feelings. I'm a week 43 also and am so anxious to see it progress to start of production. Then at least I will know that the process has started and that the dealer had in fact did everything that they were suppose to do.

I agree! It's painful. I'm starting to think BMW just cherry picks who's they want to build first

What dealer are you working through? if it's Seattle, our cars should arrive at the same time!

I ordered my M2 at a small dealership in eastern Washington, my local dealer. So I would have to think my car will arrive on the same ship as yours but get to me a few days later.

Anyone currently #1 or 2 on the 047 status waiting for their allocation? I would like to know any updates from your dealership about your status and predicted wait times? I'm assuming the Q4 batch is now all dealt out and shouldn't be anymore allocations for the rest of the year? Or some dealerships are still waiting for their remaining allocations for the year? I hope I'm wrong so I don't have to wait till next year...

Nice girl at Genius just told me I have an estimated production week of 48 (11-21).

Not bad. I just ordered last week.

You will probably have to constantly call and harass your CA about your place as they really don't start giving you updates til you get to 111 status. I put my order/deposit down in April and had to get my own updates till I got my 111 status back in the beginning of September.

lol yea I feel you man...I feel like he may be annoyed by me asking him about updates all the time. I try to get my own updates too. I also prefer to speak to him in person rather than through email or phone so there is better communication. How long did u stay at 111 status and where are u now? I assume your car is almost done?

Nice then mine is around the corner for week 45. When are you expecting yours to deliver? Mid-November? I think genius guestimated 6 weeks for delivery after production is complete.

I'm like one week behind you... it's like early- mid November production. And 6 weeks after that would be perfect ...because winter is coming
