What does 047 status means?

Do you have a production number?

I did some digging around various websites and found that 047 means in the order bank but no production number....take that with a grain of salt though

Yes I have a production number. That's very confusing

If only for us Canadians we were able to track the evolution of our cars in the myBMW.ca system.

047 is simply a pending order for which the dealer has no allocation for that car yet. It doesn't mean much, other than the dealer has demand for that car.

Thanks for the info. How come I have a Production Number?

Sorry, but I am "new" to the BMW process.

Canadian codes are different. We already have production numbers but status is 047.

Exactly. It means nothing really. "Your order request is now queued at this dealer". BMW can see this queue, but dealer is ultimately at mercy of BMW for granted allocations to be able to take any of those requests. That production date in that bank is also a requested date and will likely be moved forward for many.

Hey man do you have a car on order in Atlanta? I would love to check it out once it comes in if so. I'm still considering trading my F80 in on one.

Then why would they already have a production number?

I do have an order the bank, but I'm behind a couple of people. Their launch(HEA) car, which was spoken for, will be available to check out much earlier though. There will also be an M2 available to ride in at Road Atlanta next weekend, but get there early.

You don't have a production number without an allocation.

If this is a US order, then status was simply not updated.

Canadian orders. We seem to have a different set of codes but 047 isn't on the list either
