The BMW configurator no longer includes the carbon fiber exterior bits. Oversight? No longer available from the factory?

AFAIK the factory never actually installed them, they're really dealer options. Contact your dealership, they should be able to get them for you.

The CF and other dealer added options are super spotty on the configurator. But as mentioned above, your local dealer should be able to get you a price. Also, in some instances it's far cheaper to purchase after taking delivery of the car.

I noticed the same and it cannot be added to the MSRP so you can get discount on the total price based on your negotiated discount rate. If you cant add it at the time of build there is no point to get it dealer installed because their labor rates are very high

Earlier they were port installed and came within the MSRP price. Something changed recently

The list of M perf options that can be port installed is constantly changing. I think it has to do with inventory at the VPC your car is coming through.
