F87 JDM Wheel Thread
I'm always curious on what JDM wheels people are running - Big fan of Volk, Work, and Advan!
Please post specs if possible too. Here's my M2 Comp on a square set of 18x10 ET +25 TE37SL, 285/30/18 RT660 in Dash White (10mm spacer front).

Looks great, curious how much camber are you running front and rear?

Other than coilovers no modifications needed. You can get pretty close to -3° in the rear on stock arms

To each his own I suppose
To me there’s nothing worse than teriyaki sauce on Brotzworth I grew up around the Honda Acura JDM seen, and I am not a fan I see these type of cars in my local area. There is way they could hang with me and my buddies in our M cars A proper m car is designed to be driven, not slammed to the ground limiting the car’s very purpose

You can still achieve proper fitment and good performance. Not everyone likes having a stock M car. But just like you said, to each their own.

I’m pretty young, but I have friends in their 20s and early 30s and they feel the exact same way I do. They’d never go that low because it stifles the cars handling abilities If you run around with us at speed up in the mountains you’ll bottom out and probably crash at some point Anyway you be you… But one day you’ll probably realize exactly what I am saying As far as the JDM reference… That’s the last thing I’d want to do to the image of my M Car -And wheels like Ray’s / Volk Racing 💯 belong on a Nissan or Honda Maybe consider Vorsteiner or something upscale… You’ll be glad you did

Vorsteiner being upscale is an interesting choice of words. I remember when I was younger I couldn’t afford TE’s and I thought they were whack too. Good luck on your endeavors to M Town, maybe I’ll catch you up there if my car can make it over the speed bumps - you know, being “slammed” and all.

Thanks for ruining the post dick head! This is a place to admire how people appreciate their cars.
JDM wheels like TE37 easily cost you double of the Vorsteiner, and set you back over a year of waiting! |

Also, RAYS' manufacturing process - pretty cool imo.
Been waiting just a bit over a year for a set of diamond silver TE37sl, 19x9.5 +21 & 19x10.5 +35. Going to combo with 255/35 and 275/35 RE-71RS for track duty.
