I would have chosen BSM but for the upkeep. When clean it looks fantastic but who wants to clean it every day? I chose MG, it also looks great and hides dirt much better. It is now a bonus that they eliminated MG on the M2C. Maybe they felt HS was a good alternative.

Even if you use the two bucket method and are very careful, it's almost impossible to be perfect every time you touch the car...and imperfections that are more easily seen are the result. So if you care, like I do, it's hard to trade the 10% of the time that the paint looks perfect for the 90% that it's dirty or needs paint correction. Just my $.02....

Since HKS doesn't seem to be a proper silver then i personally wish it had no metallic in it and just be super glossy. I'd go for the gumball color appeal with a ceramic coat.

It's a tough call with HS. I want to love it, and I generally like the Nardo or Grigio Grey's on other cars, just not sure adding metallic goes with that color. It's neither silver nor gray.......it almost looks a like champagne white on a 90's Lexus
I agree that these pictures don't do the color, or the car, justice. I also agree that other colors seem to show off the fender flares way better, which is why I don't dig white on the M2. I don't know why so many are gaga over Mineral Gray. As much as I love silver grey colors on cars (both my current cars are that color) I find MG to be way too dark. BMW missed the mark on both MG and HS and should have gone with Lachssilber from e30 M3 fame, or Silver Gray from the e46 M3. The way I see it right now: Black, too much maintenance White, same issues as HS, doesn't enhance the curves Blue, is too common and not the best BMW blue by a long shot HS, maybe, need to see more pictures of it in real world, not studio Sunset Orange, becoming a real contender with all others not hitting the mark I really wish there were some other options. Then again, the color is not what makes this car. |

MG looks great on M2 and strangely looks shit on the M4. Every MG M2 I have seen looks awesome! Really shows the flared fenders off! Sunset Orange looks terrible..... |

that's what I am counting on. Carbon roof replacement for me... hoping to find a power hood as well. Spoiler is a no brainer. I always liked the "winglet" things but... probably pass on those.
