Mirror Fold when locking for M2C?

Hi...

I'm getting my M2C soon. Do the mirrors fold, or have an option to fold when locking the vehicle?

On my OG M2, I had to code this feature. Is coding needed for the M2C?

Thanks in advance!

There's actually a folding mirror button. If you want it to automatically fold when you lock, you'll need to code (at least in the U.S.) Congrats!

Depending on regions. You can use your key fob to lock it and have it fold.
In my region, NZ. I have to press and hold the lock for 1.5s on my M2C.
So click is just lock, click and hold for 1.5s is lock and then fold mirrors.

If you want it to be different, you're going to need the likes of bimmercode.

Needs to be coded in US. Funny thing my wife's 2019 X3M40 folds the mirrors.

Boggles the mind as to why BMW left this functionality coded out for U.S. Would love to have the feature, but I'm too lazy to code....sigh

It would take about a minute to code with BimmerCode!

Good to know! I'm at the point where mods are becoming too invasive and this will definitely scratch the mod itch.

Thanks for the replies. Used bimmercode for my '17 M2 and it was super easy. I'll do the same for my M2C
