The cleaners accidentally moved the front and rear vents to warm.
Interesting. I will check tomorrow morning. Great observation!
You?re right, the heat at the back was turned to maximum! I?ll check if it?s still warm.

@Q8 - Thanks for the input, you know exactly the kind of heat I'm talking about. It's a dry, oppressive heat. As long as the AC can overcome it and isn't fighting it, I'd be good.

@GHarris - I know your area well, I grew up in South Florida and dated a gal from Stuart for several years. You're also living with humidity, which we're usually lucky to avoid. I don't miss the South Florida humidity. What makes it miserable here is that so much is newer, and many of the plazas and parking lots and stores have very little tree coverage. There is no shade. I plan to garage the car at home, but once you're out and about doing errands or whatever there's not much shade help to be found. So the one thing I'm sure of is that Black Sapphire is out.
What a coincidence, I spent 9 years in Mesa Az (2005-2014).
I would much rather be in the desert than Florida!

No but this makes sense, please hear me out, if i turn off the Air conditioning and turn the little dial to the blue side and put the heater on 16 degrees CELSIUS which is the lowest setting it starts sending out hot air despite being set to the coldest setting, okay i know who doesn't use air con but my point is it shouldnt be so warm without it, considering the outside temp is only 10 degrees celcius? so my dealer is looking into it

FYI, I did notice after I turned off the heat in the rear seats, the car is less warm...Thanks to Seattle_M2 for the tip!

Is it because the car has been sitting in the sun before starting it? The black dash is a huge heat sink, and it wouldn't surprise me to find the air sitting in the ducts in the dash being preheated to 120 degrees F. So, when you turn on the system, that preheated air needs to be blown into the cabin and the in-dash area (and ducts) need to be cooled by airflow before you get the air temperature you requested. Some cars take miles of air circulation to overcome this effect.

I've noticed for some reason this car lets in heat, retains heat much better than my previous car with 0 tint ( BRZ ). Thus I ended up going with 50% tint all around.

No there is no sun involved the car is garaged and in the morning its cold like any other car, once it got warmed up it kept getting warmer and warmer despite being set on the coldest setting thus forcing me to turn on aircon
