M2 convertible?

Is there any word as to whether they'll build one or not? An employee at my local BMW dealership expressed skepticism that they will build one, but I'm hoping they do. I'm in an e93 m3 right now, and my wife drives a 135i convertible. For her, we'll probably get the M235i (or even the 228i since that turbo 4 is probably quick enough for her needs) but if BMW doesn't make an M2, I'm not sure what my next car will be. The price on the M4 is getting to be ridiculous; I'd be hard pressed to spend Z06 money on one.

I think there is a small enough market for them to build the car. Will come late in the life cycle though.

IF it is made available, it will be available the first model year, and not later in the life cycle.

You realize the 2 series vert has yet to be delivered even though we're already on our second model year.

Verts always seem to lag behind sedans and coupes.

Yes but the series cars are in production for a few years running by then.

If it looks anything like the 228i convertible they can keep it! What a messy looking ride that has turned out to be. The antenna alone screams VW!!!

Did the 1 series convertible have the antenna? I thought it also had that antenna. I think they will sell the shit out of the 2 series convertible since the 4 series got bigger and more expensive and no stick available.

Yes it has it. BMW sells a shorter antenna. Clearly people don't understand Bosch makes these antenna not BMW or VW.

It was just a bad set of pictures of a sun faded base and a fresh shorty from the parts bin.
