I am expecting N55 cars to drop in value if the S55 car is priced to sell (~$65K). Personally, after instructing a few M3/M4s on track I find it hard to imagine that torque in a M2 not taking away from its “safe when pushed to limit” character. I don’t want to go down the path of fat r-comps just to keep the rears from lighting up. Of course, BMW could prove me wrong and I’d be happy if they did
If you are talking about Eugene Oregon, that's across the country from you!

I need to update my profile. Moved to Seattle a few years ago and Eugene is less than 300 miles away and a 1 hour flight

Congratulations and welcome to the Seattle M2 owners.

BMW Seattle is still holding onto their FIVE cars on the floor, I'm sure trying to get full MSRP for them as they were a month ago. At least they sold 2 of the 7 they had. I really like the dealership as a whole but they are real dicks about discounts.

I am surprised that the AW 6 speed with just the executive package is still there.

The Excecutive Package will be worth something to some people and nothing to other people. Ditto for Apple Car Play. The blackout grills and side markers can be bought aftermarket for a small fraction of their installed price, and the installation is very much DIY. The sunroof, which you may enjoy and which may be worth $1050 to you personally, is a detriment in the resale market to a collector. Just go look at vintage car BMW listings, and not surprisingly, many tout the fact that they are "slicktops," e.g. no sunroof. Those things rattle, break, and leak, over time. Many people never use them. They add weight to the car. I would have paid to not have a sunroof on my car, but that is just me. My 2003 Porsche 911 996 TT has a sunroof. It rattles all the time when I drive it; I wish it was not there.

Not criticizing your deal, which sounds to me like a good one, just pointing out, again, that if you want a stripped 6MT car, and you are paying cash, you are very unlikely to get very much off of the car. Not to say that no one has ever gotten a deal on such a car, just to point out that such deals are RARE.
The way people talk about the LED headlights here I think the executive package will have resale value.

I got a little over $2,000 off an in stock 6 speed car with no options. The dealer had it along with two others and surprisingly they said yes to my offer of $53,000. MSRP was $55,050.

Glad you found one Pal, they are awesome little cars

Almost for sure that car was ordered by someone who did not go through with the deal. If a dealer is ordering the car, they will almost certainly add on a few things for added profit, probably both the executive package and a sunroof, plus or minus black grills and other high-markup stuff.

Good deal, congrats!

Thanks Mike & DanG.

I drove the AW 6 speed car and it was loaded with MSRP over $65K if I recall. It even had a real nice alcantara steering wheel. They were very lackluster at trying to find me a car I wanted so I simply started to look on my own and found the one in Eugene.

It's amazing how many salesmen have no idea how to sell things

They actually have 3 AW 6 speeds. They have one with just the executive package for $56,675.

Picked up a 2018 Alpine White M2 with executive package, m performance package, and black side grilles.

MSRP: $61,125
Discount: $2,304
Dealer/doc fee: $689.50
USAA discount :$2,000

$57,510.50 before taxes + registration

1.94% 66 month loan

Dealer fee was a bit higher than I would like but the discount made up for it IMO.

That's the same thing I thought, worked out perfectly for me so I can't complain.

That was a great deal compared to Seattle area. Here it is very hard to get anything off MSRP.

Sounds like a good deal to me. You basically got all of the options for free. If you wanted the options, it's a great deal. If you wouldn't have ordered those options, then it certainly didn't cost you anything to take them.

Thanks, i just ordered it!! That is my built fully loaded! Still on the edge about the m performance exhaust due to drone and cold start rattle issues. I can get the m performance package for $4550 that includes (front black grill, rear carbon spoiler, m performance exhaust with carbon tips...

With the BMW incentive and the dealer discount, it looks like you've gotten one of the better deals reported here lately. Enjoy!

I have the M Performance package and love it. They have solved the cold start rattle issue in the exhaust. The drone is only in sport and sport plus and can be coded out. By the way, the package also includes black side grills and small M Performance decals on the doors.
