When a tuner says he will post a dyno "later today", but then no post is forthcoming for almost 3 weeks, it's probably safe to assume that the dyno charts do not look like he wants them to look. That has happened more than once on this board, with more than one tuner. |

Could be they are busy?
Many people are considering full tunes and everyone is anxious to see solid results from all options out there so I would think they want to throw numbers out there and convince people why pick their tuning option over other current offerings.

Sorry for the delay everyone. On top of installing a new dyno PC, we've been extremely busy in the work shop. No excuse for tardiness, but here is the dyno comparison. The tuned car did also have our downpipe and intercooler installed.

We aren't here to compete with other tuners for peak HP. The N55 in the M2 cannot produce 400whp reliably with the stock fuel system time after time, we've been through enough drivetrain malfunctions to know that for a fact. If you can keep the temps down and the timing up the car will be happy lap after lap.
The tune we are selling for the M2 is designed to produce clean, reliable power for a car with the stock turbo and fuel system. |

So how do we figure out how much of the delta is the tune, and how much is the DP and IC? No offense, but that seems like putting a finger on the scales, doesn't it? How is that a true A/B comparison?

All the delta is in the tune. DP and IC work in their own ways to make the tune-set load target achievable. This is basically why stock tune sees little gains up top with most of bolt-ons.

I get that, up top. But in the mid to upper range, the delta is still a function of at least the DP, it seems to me, because just the DP on a stock car will still improve the mid-range....

Just got my AA tune installed a few hours ago and it's a pure animal. Amazing torque and high end. So quick and added burble maps definitely take my M2 to another level. Nothing negative to say and all positive. Thank you David and the team for killing it again !!!!!

Does your M2 tune address the power delay after shifting with the 6MT?

No we have not yet messed with the anti-lag settings. This was programmed in by BMW, if you are at WOT and shift above 6k rpm you'll notice that there is no lag. We may try and adjust this in the future but our current tuning does not make any changes to this feature.

Sorry about that, but we had our power restored last night so our phones are up and running again. Feel free to give me a call anytime today!
