I have an order in for an MG 6MT, I am looking at doing the PCD next summer and will be taking a scenic route through the smokey mountains to visit family in Kentucky before turning back and returning to Florida. Hoping to get most of the break in done right away. I was on the fence about the PPF but not as much any more after hearing your positive experience! Thanks for the write up!
I'm in tampa and will be picking up my DCT MG at the performance center in under two weeks! There's another MG in the tampa area too! We'll have to all get together when you get yours! I'll be getting ppf at Extreme Colors before my drive home.

Thanks for looking at the thread and dropping a line.

Im located on the Space Coast about an hour from Orlando.. will be there in the next Cars and Coffee next weekend so if you are in the area swing by so we can chat a while.

I'm glad you are decided to do the PPF, it's completely worth it specially if you will do some driving to Kentucky.

I did PCD and my break in was really close to complete by the time I got back. So you will most likely have it completed when you return.

Robban This was painful but manageable!

Steps are straightforward:

Used this thread as guidance: Thanks to 3002 tii for his write up - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=889437

1. Let the car sit in the sun a while to get the glue heated.

2. Dental floss did the trick, just get it under the corner and start goinn back and forward until you get from one corner to the other.

3. Use 3M Adhesive Remover, got a can at Autozone.

4. Patience, patience, patience.. spray and use some plastic to remove by areas. I wasn't able to just roll it up with my finger.. it was really stuck on there. I had some of those Bondo plastic applicators and just took my time to go by parts.

5. Repeat application of the remover and continue to pry away. It will take multiple applications and cleanup but you will get it all out eventually.

6. Isopropyl alcohol with cotton balls to remove final residue.

7. Wash the car at the end.

I will install the new spoiler tomorrow since I am heading out soon and I want to do it while the car is hot.

Color matches nicely!

Thanks for dropping a line!

Each and every bubble settled about two weeks after! I am very happy with the PPF work done on the car!

Glad to hear there is a lot of local love for MG! I am in Tampa often visiting family. Once I have my M2 I would love to meet up and get them together!

Absolutely, do you guys know of any good driving roads around here? There seems to be a few of us in central FL, would be great to get a couple M2's together for a nice drive!

Yesterday headed to a Cars and Coffee at Orlando and spotted the first M2 to be sold in Orlando, met the owner and his son, great guys. Also met Arquitecto who made the meet. After that we had a nice drive of about 40 cars up to Yalaha Bakery thru some twisty back roads! Great day!

Snapped some more pics of the spoiler after installed and shot some of the M2's together..

Finally snapped some more pics..

They have settled in nicely. It has exactly the drop I wanted! No spacers yet, was on the fence on sizes, now that I know the sized I am trying to find some with great reviews and that don't tend to vibrate!

I will load some pics shortly from the side and you can see the rear wheel gap..

What sizes did you end deciding to go with? 10mm all around or 12mm front and 10mm rear?
