Shanska, I just got the OSSDesigns headlights, and they have told me that I must code out the stock corner ambers or else the led eyebrows will pulse yellow when the low beams are on. I also want to make the rear led bars daytime running lights. Would you be able to help? I will happily pay you. I trust you since I know you've done it before.

Turn off traction control.

In seriousness, no. The two systems are tied together.

I noticed a few people coding off the headlight washer. Why is it preferable not to have that?

I assume because it can spray ALL over the car. Wiper fluid will leave water spots/stains...

I wouldn't if you DD in snowy climates, helps keep headlights clean, a life saver at night if you lights get covered up in snow/slush.

I guess that makes sense. My X6 has the headlight washers and they were part of the cold weather package. I don't live in an area that gets snow.

I remember there was someone offering free coding to M2 owners - anyone know who that was?

I just picked up my M2 and want to get this done (I don't have a Windows computer to code it myself). I'm located in Southern CT and would travel within the tri-state area

Check out the coding forum and the BimmerCode app for iOS.

My M2 comes out of winter hibernation on 3/16 and I'd like to get some coding done.
By any chance, has anyone (e.g. a coder) compiled a simplified 'pick list' of the most desired/chosen F87 codes with a detailed description of what they do, and why you may/may not want to make the change?
I've cobbled together a rough list of various coding people have noted in forum posts (some may not apply to the F87).
Anyone?

Not sure if anyone realises but you can change the gong sounds and I believe the nav voice. As BMW own Rolls Royce and Mini all those sounds are in the software and can be tuned on....
subliminalaudio - I use E Sys. Super easy when you have instructions.

I saw this the other day and have to tell you ...I must really not be paying attention. I don’t even know when the car makes a gong noise.

Separately I coded the video in motion on.... apparently, I need to have a dvd to play it. I was hoping to use my iPhone... so a little disappointed considering I have no dvd’s

I believe you can put videos on a USB stick and play from there. I've coded video in motion, but have never tested it.
