My dealer finance manager is really pushing to sell me a 3rd party warranty for extra 3 years and up to 100,000kms for $3150 ($2900) CAD if I buy it with the car. It has a $200 deductible.
Or I can get the same coverage but with zero deductible within the first 20,000kms from BMW extended warranty for $4200. Any advice? |

That's the price of a clutch job. What does this cover?
Just be careful. Most modern cars should be fine for 100k mms. These warranties are good for catastrophic failure.....which are very rare. |

I've got a PDF of the contract for the bmw extended warranty in case anyone is curious what's included or excluded.
$4200 is msrp. We can get $500 off that price. |
