It definitely maximizes all available space with not much room for variances. We mounted the e39 aux pump down that way, so had to change a cpl things for the oil line to connect spot on, but it’s on the car.
Corner balance, alignment, and track brake switch tomorrow, so hopefully set up for the track next week. Still have to open that day up for fun in my biz calendar. |

You need to use a M235i v Brace or cut yours and that would require the bumper to be removed I believe. Otherwise pug and play like anything else.

Technically speaking, the M2's brace has additional mounting to the chassis and is triangulated, meaning it should be stronger. I'm not an engineer, but this is what I've read up on chassis stiffing.
Also, chassis stiffening will not make you faster, or handle better objectively (Again, from my own research) but it can help with feedback and suspension geometry. The braces are as pictured below.
