Attached some info I received today. Pricing not yet determined though there are changes to the standard options for the non-Pure car, almost $2k of options no longer standard (alarm, seat lumbar support & seat heating, can be optioned on the standard car only) Dealer says there could be a price reduction, I won't hold my breath!
Note that as the Pure gets the standard Bi-LED lights it retains the round daytime lights (and non-LED turn indicator I think). Last edited by David.m; 06-03-2017 at 03:52 AM.. |

Thanks for the info David, instrument cluster change is the most important difference for me, it doesn't state if it's fully virtual display or not though.
I wonder if the tailights would be a straight swap on the current model. |

Heated seats not a must have for me and I never get alarms on my cars (someone's gonna steal it they gonna steal it. That's why I have insurance)
Annoyed about the lumbar support though. Having a bad back it's kinda important. I can just see them doing it as part of a seat upgrade package that includes heated seats and will cost over $2k |

Just noticed my air conditioning LED light switch from white to red as I was entering a car park. Thought it was quite neat. This is on a 125i but it does share more than a few parts with the 2 series. |

The bottom of the instrument display is white with headlights on during the day and switches to orange at night with the headlights on. This might be adjustable in the iDrive settings which has a similar type of option - just never worked out what it did! |

The document I've seen shows lumbar support & heating can be optioned separately and are $403 & $650 respectively (all those prices incl LCT & GST). Annoying for me as I'm going with the standard car for lumbar/heating for wife's back issues, so BMW will get me for those options plus the "no cost option" manual transmission! Clever marketing not allowing any optioning with the Pure Last edited by David.m; 06-04-2017 at 09:36 AM.. |

You could possibly argue BMW are missing out on easy profits though - I'd happily have optioned electric seats and HK sound and paid $3.5K extra but wasn't keen on the $10K just for that, so less for them.

LCI Option & Price
Hey guys, just in case any of you was curious, please find the list of the options with pricing for the LCI. But I don't see the additional power sockets?
Edit: Was also told the windscreen with grey shade band has been deleted. And no pricing for the car yet. Last edited by nick_stp; 06-06-2017 at 05:29 AM.. |

Thanks for the info, didn't know that. But when I went to the dealer this Jan for a deposit on M2, it was available as an option though. Strange.

Thanks for posting. Spoke to my dealer yesterday and he said he didn't have the prices yet.
Funniest part was he had just emailed me the PDF with the details on LCI and was calling to make sure I got it ok. Then proceeded to ask me not to share as it's not released officially yet. I laughed and told him I'd already seen it online. He was a bit surprised lol |

I just got the info this morning, but apparently David.m up there had seen the document a couple days ago.
Curious about the price change to the LCI though. Given Canada receives a $800 CAD bump for LCI & $1000 CAD for adaptive LED headlights, and the fact that we need to pay extra $2k for options which used to be standard, maybe the price will hold about the same? |

On US web site they list under Features & Specs | Standard Features | Comfort and convenience | Three 12V power sockets and as mentioned I believe they are an option in some markets. |
