I guess I'm looking for some kind of exhaust flow numbers between the two. I am not sure if you guys have the equipment to do that or not. I totally understand that there's no contest between the two, I was just curious.

The flow is not the only major key. We take into account multiple different factors to get you the best possible product such as duration, diameter and cell count and location of the cat. Our original design of the M235i downpipe had some issues because of unforeseen factors. We since have completely redesigned the product to ensure that no CEL comes on, while still maintaining great power gains.

Fabspeed Motorsport do you guys have the OEM exhaust diagram? I'm curious to know if you guys would offer the mid sections between the downpipe and muffler.
Would a Dinan resonator delete mate to your muffler delete? I'd imagine we could clamp it on both ends if spacing is an issue between the openings. |

Our development M2 stopped by our Open House to show off his Sport Cat Downpipe and Muffler Bypass Exhaust. I believe pup73 even took a couple people for a ride as well.

How much performance difference? Probably nothing since these cars aren't competition cars that you'll need to squeeze every ounce of power available. At least for me IMO. |

I loved the sound of the Exhaust since I first heard the clips.
But the fact that the OEM exhaust needs to be cutoff has always had me on the fence. Why not make this a complete bolt on application?

We wanted to make the best 'bang for your buck' setup. Since there is little to no value to be added for adding a midsection in, all it would do is drive the cost of the system up. If it costed more for no benefit, why make it? Also keep in mind, the OEM exhaust needs to be cut to put the MPE on as well.
